The nta Isny – a perfect place to study!

Being founded in 1945 by Prof. Dr. Harald Grübler and his wife Käthe Grübler, the nta Isny looks back on a tradition of almost 70 years. It comprises five different courses of education at the vocational college and four accredited courses of study at the University of Applied Sciences.

The nta Isny's vocational college offers the following courses:

  • pharmaceutical technical assistant (the nta was the first school to introduce this profession)
  • biotechnological assistant
  • chemical technical assistant
  • physical technical assistant
  • information technology assistant

At the University of Applied Sciences you can graduate as a Bachelor of Science in

  • informatics
  • chemistry
  • pharmaceutical chemistry
  • information technology
  • physical engineering

As one of the few educational institutes in Germany, the nta Isny enables graduates to start their career in hightech scientific professions – both with secondary school certificate (Realschulabschluss) and university entry diploma (Abitur).

The nta Isny has well-established contacts to industrial partners and research institutes. Furthermore the personal support through highly qualified and experienced lecturers in a family environment as well as efficient learning in small groups and an international university network contribute to the success of our students. This results in comparatively short study periods. At the moment, more than 500 students gain their graduation and vocational qualification at the nta Isny.

Yet Isny and its surroundings have even more to offer than excellent education: The location close to the Alps and the Lake of Constance provide our students with a huge range of outdoor leisure time activities.
